I was introduced to the gym for the first time 15 years ago. Since then, I have continued to study and learn all that I can about health and fitness. I have received personal training and mentoring from several bodybuilders. Along with physical fitness, natural health and healing are my main focuses. It is my firm belief that fitness begins from the “neck up”. In other words, “If you believe it you can achieve it”. This positive attitude has helped me to overcome many health issues and obstacles in my life. I believe it can help you as well.
I currently train at Little’s Health and Fitness and in my home fitness studio located in West Jefferson. I participate in 5k’s with my husband Ray and we spend as much time as possible in the great outdoors hiking, camping, and kayaking.
My current studies include Mind/Body healing. I am especially interested in empowering those who are struggling with poor body image issues as well as coaching older adults to better fitness to improve their quality of life.
