Shane, 30, got into fitness at 20 years old when he got his certification from the National Academy of Health and Fitness (NAHF). At the time he lived in Anderson, SC where he worked at Holiday Health and Fitness for two years, a year and a half of that time was spent as the Director of Personal Training, of the facility, the director job consisted of 4 other trainers who looked to him to get them clients as well as keeping a full compliment for himself. After he left South Carolina he moved back home to Ashe County where he worked for the Nautilus Company for a stint before getting into building homes around the Ashe County area, but he always missed the fitness business. So after the housing crash he used the money he had saved up to get certified through ISSA and continue the career path he loved so much in SC and bring his passion to Little’s Gym and Ashe County. Shane has trained a variety of people from cage fighters looking to get into shape physically for an upcoming fight to an 80 year old lady with arthritis looking to be able to have mobility and gain some strength. “I have always enjoyed helping other people reach their fitness goals in their lives, and seeing how it changes so many more aspects of their lives”. Shane also is active in many recreational sports such as softball, flag football and basketball.
